Our PHASES

MILESTONE 1

We could have opened up Luna y Sol Cafe anywhere in the world but we decided on investing in an area we have vested roots in; City of South Tucson!

MILESTONE 2

We are official property owners of Luna y Sol Cafe and have the key to the building!

MILESTONE 3

Renovations begin! We will review plans to help us reimagine and redesign the layout.

MILESTONE 4

Our opening will be done in phases and we plan to be fully open no later than Fall 2023!

PARTNERS

Selina has over 15 years of Community Development experience from Los Angeles to right here in her hometown of Tucson. She has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA and for the past 6 years, she has been a small business owner with Mi Reina Mobile Boutique; Tucson’s most unique and innovative way to shop for clothes and accessories in Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Abraham has over 20 years of experience in the Customer Service Industry. Serving as a Manager for the Trader Joe’s Company, he has learned the importance of providing a wow customer experience and will apply this philosophy to our cafe.

For Selina and Abraham, the most insightful conversations they have ever shared, have been while drinking a cup of coffee and they have always wanted to experience this feeling at a locally owned cafe on the southside. Today, they are taking their knowledge, experience and equity to develop Luna y Sol Cafe!
